After losing her husband and ending a long career, Mary Gerardy immersed herself in healing and service. While volunteering at Kalighat, the Home of the Pure Heart in Kolkata, India, she cared for impoverished sick and elderly women while piecing her own heart back together. Her encounters weave together vibrant threads of Kalighat and memories from home to reveal a portrait of a woman who grew and loved within grief and transition.
